Code of Conduct Workshop

Code of Conduct Workshop

Augusta Victoria Hospital recently organized an awareness raising accountability workshop as part of an all-staff training on the new code of conduct of the Lutheran World Federation (LWF). The training was led by the LWF Program Coordinator, Ms. Bana Husseini, and the LWF Human Resources Manage, Mr. Tony Tabban.

The interactive workshop focused on key messages related to our organizational values and principles, and served as a space for staff from all departments to discuss different scenarios, exchange and accept different perceptions, in order to receive a deeper understanding about key ethical standards.

Among issues discussed was the prevention of discrimination, harassment, bullying, fraud, conflicts of interest, and other forms of misconduct. The workshop also emphasized the importance of upholding the highest ethical standards during delivering compassionate care, people’s dignity towards each other as well as towards our beneficiaries.

The workshop aims to build a positive working environment for all, where a sense of trust will continue to be nurtured among colleagues, beneficiaries, and all stakeholders.
