The Intensive Care Unit
The Augusta Victoria Hospital's intensive care unit (ICU) is a specialized unit that provides comprehensive, round-the-clock care to critically ill patients. This department is equipped with the latest equipment; including the Hamilton Ventilator, a state-of-the-art respirator, and the Stable continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) dialysis machine, that provides unique dialysis services for critically ill patients. We also offer intermittent hemodialysis for patients who need dialysis for a short period of time, as well as plasmapheresis to remove disease-causing antibodies in patients with severe immune diseases.
Patients in the ICU often have serious or life-threatening conditions that require close monitoring and support, such as respiratory failure, organ failure, and other complex medical issues.
Our ICU team is composed of highly trained medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers, who are skilled in the management of complex medical conditions and the use of advanced medical technology.
We are committed to providing high-quality health care to all of our patients in need of intensive care to stabilize their health condition.
