A delegation from Augusta Victoria Hospital visited Gaza Strip
A delegation of medical and management teams from Augusta Victoria Hospital (AVH) visited the Arab Ahli Hospital and the Turkish- Palestinian Friendship Hospital in Gaza Strip last week. A tumor board meeting was held to discuss complicated cancer cases, in addition lectures from AVH and the Turkish- Palestinian Friendship Hospital were held.
In her welcoming remarks, Mrs. Suhaila Al-Tarazi, Director of Al Arab Ahli Hospital, stressed the importance of the strategic longstanding partnership with AVH that aims to support cancer patients wherever they are.
During the visit to the Turkish- Palestinian Friendship Hospital, Dr. Subhi Skaik, director of the hospital, offered an overview about the important role played by the hospital in serving cancer patients in the Gaza Strip.
Dr. Fadi Atrash, AVH CEO, highlighted the significance of this joint collaboration in offering cancer treatment and access for Palestinian patients, which is a top priority for AVH.
Overall, this initiative strengthened the collaboration and established further connections among specialists and physicians committed to providing optimal services for Palestinian cancer patients.
